Taking stock of my life every month is my thing.
It doesn’t always get published on my little internet space here but today I have some mojo
left in the tank after a few days of night shift.
What have you been up to this month?
Taking Stock. July. The short version.
Making : Choc caramel slice with my son for his end of school term classroom party. yep, they still do that in 2016.
Cooking : Healthy meals from my community co-op growers market box. A mystery box of fruit and veggies each week is delivered on my doorstep for me to Masterchef into family meals.
Drinking : Still my go-to white coffee with 1 sugar. Can not. Will not. Give it up. Everyone has a vice right?
Reading: Anna Spargo-Ryan’s The Paper House.
Wanting: My amazon books to arrive soon. Apparently 8 days delivery to Oz is waaay to long for me to handle.
Looking: For new recipes to create with fish. Cutting down on our 7 days a week red meat addiction.
Playing: Chess or UNO with my kids.
Deciding: On a few school holiday activities with the kids in the quest for screen freedom
Wishing: I didn’t feel hung over after night shift.
Enjoying: My Blog Magic course with Pip and the #Pipsters.
Waiting: For our little family weekend away this weekend
Liking: Netflix’s random movie gems
Wondering: How writing & my blog will transpire in the future
Considering: My next bookstore purchase. Must get to the library more often. Put away the credit card Lisa.
Watching: Retro Robert De Niro movies on Netflix. Creepy. Felt like I need a shower after watching Taxi Driver.
Hoping: For sunny weather over the school holidays in the middle of winter. #Optimist
Cringing: At the mess the the world is in. Trump, Britain & the EU, Australian politics. Bleh, Bleh.
Needing: A vitamin B shot. Or a Mojito. Or a coffee. I can’t decide.
